These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of mynome.co (the “Service”) operated by Mynome (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Mynome is a cognitive phenotyping tool that maps your mind across five scientifically studied dimensions using a self-report quiz. We offer both free and paid features including personalized reports, relationship guides, and AI-powered chat.
Mynome is an awareness and self-exploration tool. It is not a medical device, clinical diagnostic, psychological assessment, or substitute for professional evaluation. Our quiz questions are adapted from peer-reviewed research instruments, but the Service has not been independently validated as a clinical tool.
Results are based on self-reported responses and should be interpreted as general indicators of cognitive tendencies, not definitive measurements. If you have concerns about any cognitive trait described in your results, consult a qualified healthcare or psychology professional.
Prevalence statistics cited in the Service are drawn from published research and referenced by source. We do not fabricate or extrapolate statistics beyond what the cited studies support.
Paid reports, relationship guides, and chat responses are generated by AI (Anthropic's Claude). While we design our prompts to produce accurate, science-grounded content, AI outputs may contain errors, generalizations, or imprecise statements. AI-generated content should be treated as informational, not authoritative.
We instruct the AI to use hedging language (“your scores suggest”) rather than definitive claims, to cite only verified statistics, and to avoid fabricating research citations. Despite these safeguards, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of every AI-generated statement.
Paid features are one-time purchases processed through Stripe. No subscription or recurring billing is involved. All prices are displayed before purchase and charged in USD.
Because paid features deliver AI-generated content immediately upon purchase, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you experience a technical issue that prevents delivery of your purchased content, contact us and we will resolve it or issue a refund.
Purchases are tied to your email address and can be restored on any device using the email you used at checkout.

The Mynome name, logo, quiz design, cluster taxonomy, dimension framework, and website design are our intellectual property. AI-generated reports and relationship guides are created for your personal use. You may share your results and Mynome ID freely, but you may not commercially redistribute the content of paid reports.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that results are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mynome shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to decisions made based on your quiz results or AI-generated content.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
