Mynome (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website mynome.co (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Your quiz answers are processed entirely in your browser. They are stored in your browser's local storage so you can return to your results. We do not send your raw quiz responses to our servers or store them in any database.
Your quiz scores are encoded into a Mynome ID — a short string that represents your dimension scores. This ID may be stored on our servers when you make a purchase (attached to your Stripe transaction) to enable cross-device access.
If you purchase a paid feature, your email address and transaction details are collected by Stripe, our payment processor. We store your email, purchase history, and entitlements in our database (hosted on Supabase) to deliver your purchased features. We never see or store your credit card number — Stripe handles all payment data under PCI DSS compliance.
Messages you send in the “Ask about your mind” chat feature are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses. We do not permanently store your chat messages on our servers. Chat history is saved in your browser's local storage for your convenience. Anthropic may process your messages in accordance with their own privacy policy and data retention practices.
If you submit a review or rating, we store the content, your rating, and associated profile information in our database. Reviews do not include your email unless you separately provide it.
If you opt in to notifications (e.g., compatibility alerts or retake reminders), we store your email address for that purpose. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.
We use two cookies, both strictly functional (no tracking or analytics cookies):
Both cookies are HTTP-only (not accessible to JavaScript), signed with HMAC-SHA256 to prevent tampering, and expire after 5 years.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including HMAC-signed cookies, server-side input validation, rate limiting, and encrypted connections (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Quiz data stored in your browser persists until you clear your browser data or retake the quiz. Purchase records and entitlements are retained indefinitely to support cross-device restore. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below. If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Mynome is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
